I am a retired social psychologist now working as a volunteer on environmental issues, espcially water issues involving the Great Lakes in the U.S. I'm Conservation Chair of the Great Waters Group Sierra Club, sit on the Boards of the Milwaukee Environmental Consortium and The Milwaukee Riverkeeper.  I also direct the Senior Water Advocates' Network (SWAN).  I train seniors to become advocates for water issues.

I am a writer, published 16 books on psychology, and am just now beginning to write on enviornmental topics--opinion pieces for newspapers and a book on Earth ethics.

I am exploring with others the idea of creating a comprehensive network of groups, organizations, businesses, schools, etc. to work together in creating a New Milwaukee (Wisconsin).  I'd like to do on a local level what this website does worldwide.  Our network would be local and focused on building a New Milwaukee that would primarily invest in the human community and the environment.
