About
I am motivated by a comittment to help heal our Mother Earth. Everything that I do is aimed towards that goal. I live in a very small place in the Santa Monica Mountains where I try to produce the majority of the food that I eat as well as offer up surplus to the native wildlife that is so prolific around where I live. I try to remain in my watershed as much as possible, working where I live and surfing a local spot that my local creek drains into. The earth and the water are two elements that keep me sane, and both offer opportunities for me to live off of nature's abundance.
I have recently organized a series of Westside Permaculture gatherings that happen every month in Santa Monica, one of the few times I travel in to town. I encourage everyone to attend because we are looking to build a strong, action oriented community of people looking to make change in the neighborhoods they live in.
