For a South African living in such exciting times in our country and continent and ofcourse as global citizen I could not resist joing foot soldiers of such noble cause. As a media (eletronic media) person, youth developer, a pathfinder (scout), a responsible parent and somebody with a heart to serve it come naturally to forge ties with men your calibre to nuture me to serve people of our land and of all God's land with clearer purpose and focus and renewed energies. |

Dear friend, with the regard to the WE translation project, I hope to be able to provide some very modest contribution for the creation of an Italian version. I can also suggest to contact for example Transition Italia which has already a certain good exparience in it.
If I find other contacts I'll contact you immediately.
All the best

Hi Mrs.Deborah, My name is Luther Mendin and is a Liberian by Nationality. I got very interested in you when i read your profile, however, My interest in the respectable field of Journalism is of no doubt, During my high school days, i served in my school's press club as a chief reporter and was a former secretary general for the Liberia Secondary School Press Association.More besides,I have set up a local organization named;HIGH SCHOOL JOURNALISM TRAINING NETWORK,Much of our activities focus on the setting up of press clubs in the various high schools thus aiding in exposing the numerous ills that pervade the country's educational sector.Members of the club are also trained on the basic Journalistic skills such as:Broadcasting,Reporting, editing, etc. Efforts are underway to produce a bimonthly news letter entitled;INSIDE LIBERIAN SCHOOLS. The organization is desperately in need of both finanial and logistical assistance. in this light,i am kindly asking for your unbiased assistance in making this dream a reality. You are indeed my mentor.
BEST REGARDS LUTHER MENDIN.

Hi Deborah -terrific to have you join The Hero Generation - especially given you background in journalism and education. As you can see from out site, we aim to build the best possible web-accessible slide presentation on what sustainability is really about, what is blocking us from getting there and what we need to do about it. Hopefully we create a great tool for anyone with a passion in this area to be able to take away and present where-ever they can. Time is running out a tad faster than we might have imagined, so it is ever more critical we work collabortively to really drive some rserious change at all scale. I'm keen to learn more about what you folks are doing in Marin - we have a similar project started for Far North Queensland. Very best wishes John |

Hey, Deborah:
Very nice new picture! I appreciate the efforts you have contributed, as well as your background. The esteem in which I hold the disciplined conscientious members of "the fourth estate" also commends you. Anyone who can claim to be a "veteran reporter" has my admiration. Keep up the good work! David Messages done with sustainable energy, with Wind and Sun! |
