I suppose the term generalist is not a bad term to apply to Planetary Developers as many may likely adopt a sort of jack of all trades stance. However when you look at how in effect those within the field will be embedded within and across the entirety of the human discipline structures from those in medical, agruculture, engineering, energy, legal and all the rest one can see the matrix of a variety of technical specializations coming out of it. So Planetary Developers shall be generalist in terms of the overall missions, projects or goal structures of Planetary Development while at the same time being embedded mechanics within their technical specialization and in a position to make changes and or recommendations from that end of things.

I do agree with you that a great deal of progress can be made within the span of a single generation such as our own. Where for example our job may simply be to set up the ideological frontier adding to it a basic system structure that others later on can add or subtract to or from as needed. Why I suggest that we move slowly across the generations is to 1. To minimize any shock and stressors that may occur across society. and 2. To give time for those within the field of Planetary Development to access or evaluate the changes being made as to having their desired effect or not. And if not than a rethinking or a reevaluation of process and actions can take place. All of this will take time It is called engaging in real strategic thinking for the long term.

Also-I have been over to that Omidyar Network looking around and I see where there is a sign in and password to get on but when I looked for a link to sign up for the network I just didn't see one for some reason. It probably means I need new glasses.

Pursuant to the last contact, what then coming from your vantage point do you see as some possible methods or strategies to start the process of building those bridges or connections across our world looking at it form the whole system point of view?

What may be obvious when you visit the website for Planetary Development is that I see the development of a new field of human endeavor as one plausible method or approach to apply across the system. Here the back ground theory is that Planetary Developers or PD as they are founded shall work in their major field or discipline and have at least to start a minor or a side interest in the field of PD and as they are going about their day to day jobs tasked as thay are to those positions they also shall be tasked into the whole of Planetary Developments system as well. Here an overlay begins across both systems where (and keep in mind this will happen across generations not affecting any present real time status quo by a slow tweaking process across the system) Planetary Developments projects, missions, goals and dream state restructuring begins to take effect as the alignment of our worlds socio-economic affairs takes shape around a vast new infrastructural framework ultimately laid down and monitored by and in the full view of all our worlds citizens. David, this is the basic operational concept behind the coming field of Planetary Development - Our Own.
