About [Edit]
This is a two-day event that will be co-created by the community. We are setting up a village in Golden Gate Park to engage around the issues of our time and to explore potential solutions. We will have a circle of theme "neighborhoods" set up in open-air tents to explore the issues and solutions. We are inviting nonprofits to set up tables or tents near their neighborhood of interest to engage with the public, raising awareness about the work they are doing in the world. and strengthening connections with other nonprofits, sharing resources and experience. This event is free to the public and free of any commercial transactions. We are using WiserEarth's groups (http://www.wiserearth.org/group/TheBigOne) to organize and plan the event. Please participate in any way you can.

Though I am new to this website, I will be volunteering on Sunday for this event. I am looking forward to the experience.
