the edit box remains in view and the preview gets updated sometimes outside the view. Not sure what would be the best solution though. Repositioning the window to the top of the preview area might disorient the user if the previewed content is too long. Just a message informing the user might work best?

The site is really coming along. You've done such incredible work...Here are a list of questions/suggestions I have.

-Can Keyword search be in the simple search? This is probably the most likely way orgs will search for each other at first.
-Can the Edit symbol also say “edit”? People may not be familiar with this symbol
-Spelling something incorrect in the “advanced search” creates an error page
-Maybe there can be a description of “articles” at the top of any article page you click into, so that people understand what this feature is
-I noticed “women” as a sub category has no orgs under it?
-When we click Areas of Focus from the home page, can it be viewed in a list format, similar to the viewing for “By Location”? Perhaps by clicking a + next to each of these Areas of Focus you can then see the rest of the description.
-Under advanced search—what does “Type” mean? Can we have a key somewhere defining these things? Including an explanation for “Areas of Focus” “SCS Web” and symbols like + etc.
-Have we decided on letting other people change an org’s profile? I still think certain parts of orgs profiles should be locked, to ensure some level of ownership of identity
-Can we include a “Contact Us” page on the Home page?
-Should we launch with people’s email addresses? Have we taken precautions to avoid spam for these individuals? There are companies that thrive on databases like these to suck email addresses. What’s our plan here?
-Is there a way for an individual to have an identity within this system? What if you are a lone activist unaffiliated with an org?
-When searching for an area of focus, can we make it clearer whether or not you have found one of the 52 or a sub-area? I think the short list that is expandable is the best way to illustrate this…

On the home, we might want to consider removing the table of content.
it takes a lot of space and take away from the rest.
I checked with wikipedia and notciced that they did not have an automated table of content on homepage.
Or ability to wrap text or images around it could be another option

Well I tried adding an organization by just doing a search or by clicking on 'add organization' on the left, and once the results are returned, there is no place to click "Add" once I realize it isn't already in the database. Unless I just can't find it.

Other than that though, I'm enjoying my SCS Development site experience very much.

Home page:
- I found the titles (organization, articles, areas of focus, SCS Web) above the search box a little confusing - when I clicked on Areas of focus I expected to be taken to a list of the Areas of Focus

Menu/TOC box
- I think Amazon Watch shouldn't be in the menu/TOC box, just Today's Featured Organization, or we should add Wangari Maathai as a sub heading under Today's Featured Person, so it is consistent

Toggle TOC title
-I would just align this to the left (I really like straight lines)

SCS Stats
- I was just wondering if, when you click on one of the areas of focus in the SCS Stats box, if you were shown the definition/keywords of the area at the top of the page, just before listing the orgs attached to that area of focus.

Markdown Reference
- this is great, really simple to understand and graphic! I just thought the name should be more user friendly e.g. Text Formatting Help or Formatting Info
