Greetings Nasher52,
That is really good feedback, and will be an issue for the tech team to resolve. I have collated your feedback and added it to the Technical Features wikipage. peace dan;el |

Also, the google map associated with my profile is pointing to Saskatchawan (the center of Canada??) when it should show London, Ontario. My sister lives in Toronto and her profile (CNash) shows the correct map. Just because my London is the fake one (we also have a Thames river!) doesn't mean it should appear in Sask. :)

Is it possible to edit my Ares of Focus and choose the order in which they appear?? Right now it comes up in alphabetical order, but I'd rather be able to prioritize based on my main interests. Thanks!

Hi JBremner,
That is a tech issue that we'll have to get back to you on. For now you could try going back to your profile and seeing if you can edit the about section now that the rest has been saved. peace, dan;el |

Hi,
I can't get the about on my profile to save, when i hit save it says to preview first, and then when i preview there is nothing that saves it. Thanks. |

Hi Billaal,
You may not see edit changes until you refresh your browser. If you check the Harry Bridges Center now, the title should be updated. |
|
Hi,
can't seem to edit a mis-spelled word in an organizational tittle, see HArry Bridges Center..... I tried editing the title and it shows as edited, but doesn't change the main display |

Nice pic Huyz,
The ability to hide one's email address is slated to be available by the time the site goes public. Also, the site changes the (at) symbol in your email so that bots (malicious programs) can't automatically find your email and add it to spam lists. peace, dan;el |

Hey, when adding an event, there is no field for Organization: it just says NONE. Thanks guys! and congrats today! -TP

Hello, thanks for inviting me to the pre-launch. Glad to be able to check it out!
Are there ways to control privacy settings, such as hiding the email address? Thanks |
|
Camilla, please check with Peggy. I spoke with her about this.
Thanks. |

Oz - we've changed this WiserEarth Feedback email link to a single email address now 'info@wiserearth.org' - can this be set up to receive emails instead? Cheers :) Camilla

Tricia,
We already have a ticket for this. Should be resolved very soon. Thanks. |

Hey Oz! When I'm the terrestrial ecosystems portal page and I try to click on "Shrublands" in the right column, it takes me to a portal that says "Participacion Democratica"...? :)
Thanks!! ~Tricia |

I attempted to send the following email using the link that comes from the
‘3. Contact a member of the WiserEarth Help Desk Technical Feedback” link On this page: http://www.wiserearth.org/scs/index.php/article/UserFeedback I received a bounceback message that said: “This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. The following addresses failed: <technical@naturalcapital.org> SMTP error from remote server after RCPT command: host mx1.tigertech.net[64.62.209.31]: 550 <technical@naturalcapital.org>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual mailbox table” I thin tried the general feedback address feedback@wiserearth.org and go the same type of bounceback Ahhhh the joys of setting up techncial system! Two questions. I like the 'visualise network' function for organisational areas of focus. Is it possible to have a parallel geographical tool?
When people visit the Pioneers of Change profile, for example, they might get the idea that things are happening only in Johannesburg (headquarters location), although the network is made up partly of several local networks. Should I create a separate profile for each of the local networks?
And, if a geographical visualisation tool is added, will it be possible to visualise anyone who is associated with the organisation, as many people could be scattered?
This is wonderful, really...
