Global Governance

Global Governance

One earth, many worlds: Sustainability attempts to coordinate, network, correct, and govern those actions of the many worlds that may harm the one earth (the global commons) and incite destabilizing violence. Some believe in world government, others in markets, still others in a hierarchy of "federated" state governments, and others in a web of non-state-based civil society organizations as the best management practice. Global climate change, whaling, HIV/AIDS, open sea mineral harvests, acid rain, ozone, airspace for transport, near earth satellite and telecommunications infrastructure, planetary genetic resources (biodiversity), migratory birds and butterflies, waste disposal, weapons sales, Antarctica, nuclear testing, and chemical fallout have all been issues in which global governance and sustainability entangle.

Med_worldhandsSustainability, in part, rests on political stability and acceptance of government authority. The nation-state acts as a defender of its citizens'; security, a container and nurturer for its citizens' economics and culture, and an internal legal and regulatory authority to preserve peace and justice. The nation-state authority has been challenged economically by globalization, security by terrorism and climate change and other cross-boundary environmental issues, and justice by special interests and electoral procedures. The nation-state has been challenged to preserve its natural capital and natural heritage for future generations by the sustainability movement.

Did You Know?

As a target of government surveillance, Internet policy affects privacy and civil liberties. It affects freedom of expression, forcing the world's diverse policies to be harmonized. It provokes debates over the global balance of power, as the US government holds unilateral control of Internet resources against the will of users and governments in Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa. Internet-based communication tools also enable new forms of global governance and new ways to participate in international institutions. - Internet Governance Project

This vision requires effective democratic global institutions that will apply the rule of law while respecting the diversity and autonomy of national and local communities.

not sure who wrote this propaganda piece above, about 'Global Governance' by the global banksters ... the world corporate state secret government.

politically-correct news-speaking helps no one! news-speak is written to dumb-down the public into further consumer violence. it only furthers the status quo of violence against women and children, the genocide against the indigenous peoples, the disempowered slavery of all the people of the world, our continued murder of our Mother Earth.

only in empowering [protecting!] every individual, only be ending the violence of the corporate state and nations states, and all guilds, law, churches and organizations -- against individuals -- against cultures -- against life -- only then can be have global decisionmaking and a global economy which grows (because the violence is ended).

only then -- when we speak the truth, end secret government, empower every individual -- only then can we heal our Mother Earth ... our Mother Earth, the divine Gaia of living rainforests and living ocean, who is 95-98 percent eradicated at this time.

we know the numbers, we know the (world-cultural-war) reasons!

we can admit the truth of our hypocrisy, our immorality, our dishonoring of people and planet ... and forgive ourselves and every-one ... and thus further this dialog every-day in which we can evolve, refine, enlighten, grow and shine ... together.

we are the returned Divine Feminine, the Maitreyah, Messiah -- Adi Shakti, Maahdi, Maschiak -- Global heart, mind, body of all knowing and all power.

WE have arrived, awakened!

Hello and peace to all.

Don't forget forgiveness.

Glad to find this page. Hope to be of service.

I developed the WholEarth System while attending Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.

Based on the work of Bucky Fuller and others.

It is a very simple way to locate and concentrate on the five elements that connect all living things to this space ship Earth.

As with any complicated problem the first thing to do is simplify it. Then we can calmly begin to work out the solutions to the puzzle.

Our home the planet, our body, our house.

The Water.

The Food.

The Energy.

The occupation of all living things is to provide something of real value to

other living things.

Sound too easy? It is, just start.

Now.

A WORD ABOUT ARMCHAIR DIPLOMACY

There are those who would criticize armchair diplomats for their attempts to promote meaningful dialogue amidst a perfect storm of public debate.  These range from newer versions of manifest destiny and still-newer editions of the Monroe Doctrine to those of isolation, protectionism, neutrality, imperialism, colonialism and other politics of a bygone era.  The time has come for effective cooperation in the establishment of guidelines, unified efforts toward transformational change and answers which are based on diplomatic solutions more than all other options, but which recognize that proper governance must enforce the rule of law, especially when its neglect will result in civil wars and anarchy.  We must support those reforms which do not conflict with God’s Laws and which will benefit society as a whole.  It is necessary to promote suggestions for the improvement of world diplomacy and how its general pursuit may rid itself of useless baggage and other hindrances.  Have we learned enough from our mistakes to move toward the solutions that are so desperately needed, or are we stuck in an endless cycle of one-upsmanship, revenge, fingerpointing, and entrenched interests? Coldwar tactics are a pointless exercise that risk  unnecessary provocation of world neighbors, and their continued use prolongs the terms of vested-interest groups who attempt to shore-up their agendas by hiding in an anonymous role behind a curtain of puppet-diplomacy.  We who address this diplomatic theatre from our respective armchairs have an opportunity to short- circuit the plans of these powerful vested-interests by exposing their tactics on the blogging world stage and forcing them to confront us on our terms.  Our unity of purpose will successfully bring workable answers to the frustrated diplomatic roundtable and help to persuade leadership and provoke dialogue where needed.  Our world diplomacy must be based on more than the selfish ambitions of a few players who seek to turn the world into private divide-and-conquer fiefdoms! Let’s refuse to accept anything but the very best diplomatic solutions for our planet!

Global Governance, a term that needs serious debate across our world. The opening up of communication on this topic alone is one of the keys toward its eventual operational conclusion. In the end though just what is this Global Governance, this apparatus going to look like, how is it going to work and to who or what say organizations ultimate benefit? If communication about this subject does not begin soon, I mean very soon across every aspect of human affairs and human disciplines as noted above than the inititive toward an effective equilibrated system of operations for our civilization may be lost for a long time to come. We our civilization our species can ill afford to keep our head in the sand and continue to think that this Global Governance which I like to call our worlds Planetary Development, however it may look like in the end, is a topic that will just go away if we just don't look at it long enough.
