Animalia

Animals are many-celled and need to feed on other organisms. They are not photosynthesizers. Typically, they ingest their food to an internal cavity and are mobile. Over 1.5 million species have been described. More than 95 percent are invertebrates (without backbones), though humans call mammals "animals" and forget about the invertebrates or even the birds and reptiles and amphibians.
